Over the past eighteen weeks, participants of all ages from our local community worked collaboratively to create a colourful installation in our Smith Zone Gallery!
Under the guidance of artist facilitator Marjan Verstappen, participants learned a variety of paper folding techniques and created various flowers, animals, planes, buildings, and even the odd dragon or parachuter!
As elements were added each week, our community wall got more and more interesting, and eventually transformed into a vibrant installation inspired by our lakefront!
The installation will be displayed until the end of July. Drop by to see it during gallery hours: Tuesday – Friday, 11 am – 5 pm, Saturday 11 – 2 pm. Thank you to all the creative minds that helped make it possible!
