For a minimum of $25 a year, you can strengthen the economic fabric of your local community by supporting Lakeshore Arts’ initiatives. Your investment helps the organization maintain accessible programs for artists of all ages and skill levels, free gallery shows, community projects, art in the schools, unique events, and arts advocacy throughout Toronto. Questions about membership? WHICH TYPE OF MEMBERSHIP IS BEST FOR YOU?

An Individual Membership is 25$ and best suited for arts supporters looking to enrich their community by investing in creative and valuable arts programming. Memberships are valid for 12 months from the time of purchase and provide individuals with:

  • 10% discount at Curry’s Art Supply Store
  • 10% discount at Above Ground Art Supplies
  • Advance notice of special events
  • Voting privileges at our Annual General Meeting (November)
  • Volunteer and networking opportunities within the arts community
  • Discount on select programs and events
  • Discount on space rental 
  • $50 reward for setting up a direct deposit account with Alterna Savings

Artists can purchase a membership for $35 to help them promote their work to Lakeshore Arts’ audiences and connect with resources, networks and creative opportunities. Membership is valid for 12 months from the time of purchase and provides the individual with:

  • A listing on our Online Member Directory
  • 10% discount at Curry’s Art Supply Store
  • 10% discount at Above Ground Art Supplies
  • The opportunity to promote up to 2 of your arts-related projects via Lakeshore Arts’ social media pages
  • Advance notice of special events and calls for submission
  • Voting privileges at our Annual General Meeting (November)
  • Volunteer and networking opportunities within the arts community
  • Discount on select programs and events
  • Discount on space rental
  • Resources, referrals and references from Lakeshore Arts staff
  • $50 reward for setting up a direct deposit account with Alterna Savings

A Family Membership is best for a household of arts supporters! This 40$ membership is valid for up to 2 adults (plus children under the age of 16) residing in the same household. Membership benefits include:

  • Advance notice of special events
  • Voting privileges at our Annual General Meeting (November)
  • Volunteer and networking opportunities within the arts community

Youth (ages 16-29) and seniors (over the age of 65) can receive their membership at a reduced rate of $10. This membership is valid for 12 months from the time of purchase and provides the Member with:

Small businesses (under 10 employees), nonprofit organizations, and local arts groups interested in investing in the Etobicoke community can purchase a membership for a fee of $50. A fee of $150 applies for larger businesses/organizations. This membership is valid for 12 months from the time of purchase and provides the organization with:

  • A listing on our Member Directory
  • The opportunity to promote up to 4 of your organization’s arts-related projects via our social media pages
  • The opportunity to promote up to 4 of your organization’s arts related posters in our storefront window
  • Advance notice of special events
  • 10% discount at Curry’s Art Supply Store
  • 10% discount at Above Ground Art Supplies
  • 1 vote at the Annual General Meeting (November)
  • Volunteer and networking opportunities within the arts community
  • Discount on space rental
