Lakeshorts International Short Film Festival is South Etobicoke’s destination event which celebrates the passion and spirit of independent film! Organized by Fifth Ground Entertainment Inc. and Lakeshore Arts, this year’s Festival will include a new screening: The Saturday matinee “TD Bank Family Screening: Big Questions from Little Films”. Hosted by former TVO Kids; The Space host, Kara Harun, the TD Bank Family Screening will feature international films for younger audiences (recommended viewing age – 8+) and spark larger conversations and discussion.
Returning this year are the Friday night “Scotiabank Loved and Local” screening hosted by Richard Crouse and featuring the work of Toronto and surrounding area filmmakers, and the Saturday evening “AGF Gala” screening and after-party hosted by Rick Roberts and featuring selected international shorts.
