They’re baaaaack! Portrait Project Round #2

Remember those amazing portraits we featured from the students of Lakeshore Collegiate Institute last year? Good news – the Facade Portrait Project is back and better than ever! This past month, students from four of LCI’s Visual Arts and CyberArts classes worked with artists Dan Bergeron and Paul Aloisi on 11 days of in-class work. The students created work based on a character they felt held similar characteristics to themselves – a process which allowed students to delve deep into their personalities and vulnerabilities. The project was incredibly well received and we are excited to have some pieces on display in the Smith Zone Gallery from December 9th – January 31st in the Black and White + One exhibit.
