60 Painters is a historic exhibition of contemporary Canadian painting. This collective of artists, led by curator Scott Sawtell, partnered with Lakeshore Arts to present an ambitious exhibition of contemporary Canadian painting in May 2013.

Humber College, a community partner, hosted the exhibition in their newly renovated 12,000 ft. Media Arts Building, South Campus. Alan Joson, a Humber grad designed the catalogue and a generous donation from RBC Foundation assisted with the cost of printing. It is an excellent resource on contemporary Canadian Artists and a wonderful gift for the aficionado.

The 100-page catalogue beautifully presents each of the exhibited paintings in a full colour palette plus biographical notes on each Canadian artist. Remarks on Canadian Painting by Amanda Clyne, John Armstrong, Scott Waters and Bogdan Luca will deepen your understanding of the collection and Canadian painters.

Copies of the catalogue are available for $15.00 (incl. taxes and shipping). Contact info@lakeshorearts.ca to make a purchase. Proceeds from the sale of the catalogue support Lakeshore Arts, a not-for-profit charitable organization. More information on the exhibition and participating artists can be found at www.60painters.com.
