See the painting in progress and meet the muralist on June 9th!  \n\n\n\nAbout the Mural: \n\n\n\nThe piece will centre around the idea of planting seeds into our community to assist others in these uncertain times. This artwork will speak to the importance of supporting one another and “planting seeds” to usher in growth for the community. Whether that be patronizing a new business\, donating to a local shelter/crowd funding\, participating in nature clean-up initiatives or assisting a neighbour in need.

DESCRIPTION: Explore Paper & Cardboard Arts at Lakeshore Arts! \n\n\n\nStarting on May 2nd\, artist facilitator Dani Galaviz will be facilitating a FREE weekly Paper & Cardboard Arts drop-in program for all skill levels on Saturday afternoons.  \n\n\n\nParticipants will have the opportunity to complete smaller individual projects to make and take home in the first three workshops (May 2nd\, 9th\, and 16th). The final four workshops (May 23rd\, 30th\, and June 6th and 13th) will focus on larger community projects to be featured in our first-ever annual Mimico Arts Jam festival for the whole community!  \n\n\n\nAll supplies for sewing projects will be supplied\, no experience necessary!
