Celebrating its 9th year, the Lakeshorts International Short Film Festival is pleased to announce the inaugural TD Bank Family Screening: Big Questions from Little Films at the Assembly Hall on Saturday, May 4th.

Six short films from around the world are being showcased including Columbia, Netherlands and Canada and range from 2 to 12 minutes in length. Adult accompaniment is required and recommended viewing age is 7 and up due to the content of some films. These films are a vehicle for conversation and will spark opportunities for continued dialogue.

Doors will open at 11:30 am and audience members will be able to walk the blue carpet, have their picture taken, enjoy live music and participate in a stop motion animation workshop. Refreshments and food will be served prior to the screening which begins at 12:15 pm. The screening will open with a live drumming performance and is hosted by former TVO Kids; The Space host, Kara Harun.

An opportunity to mingle after the screening, to share insights and feedback is encouraged.
