On June 20, 2026, Lakeshore Arts hosted the first ever Mimico Arts Jam in Amos Waites Park. Mimico Arts Jam was a free, all-ages festival that celebrated community art in all its forms, and invited community members to create and experience visual art, poetry, song, dance and performance together. Lakeshore Arts is now showcasing a selection of collaborative artworks created for and during the festival in our gallery space, so that we can celebrate the incredible work of our community and look back on a successful inaugural festival!

To read more about the festival, including performers and artist facilitators, visit our Mimico Arts Jam webpage.
