We are hiring for THREE summer positions: an Event Planning Coordinator, a Marketing Assistant, and a Programs Assistant!

The Event Planning Coordinator will assist with the planning and execution of Lakeshore Arts’ Summer events, in collaboration with the other staff members, and will have the opportunity to hone their skills in outreach by representing Lakeshore Arts in different communities and public settings.

The Marketing Assistant will contribute to the delivery of Lakeshore Arts’ marketing plan in support of our community arts programs, as well as outreach events and artist opportunities. They will also assist with cataloguing visual documentation, and participant testimonials, in support of LSA’s annual Impact Report.

The Programs Assistant will contribute to the development and coordination of LSA’s fall and summer programs, and other partnership programs and events. They will support arts programs, draft work plans, and assist with documentation of programs, as well as program evaluations and final program reports.

These positions are funded in part by Canada Summer Jobs (Government of Canada) and as such, applicants must be 15 to 30 years of age and legally entitled to work in Canada. These are full time, contract positions (30hrs per/week) for 9 weeks, with compensation of $20.20/hr.
