Update from LSA

Lakeshore Arts and its Board of Directors is announcing that our current Executive Director, Theodore Walker-Robinson, is moving on to new opportunities.

Theo started as LSA’s ED in August of 2022, following the uncertain times of COVID lockdowns and restrictions. They guided LSA through this transition to more in-person programming and events, including the return of our ever-popular annual Pie Auction fundraiser. Under their leadership, LSA made successful partnerships such as our inaugural YCC radio & creative writing program partnership with Met Radio, along with our annual Black History Month exhibition and workshops, offered in partnership with BrAIDS for AIDS and LAMPHC, and our Q Summit x REX Pride workshops, in partnership with Rexdale CHC.

Under Theo’s leadership, LSA was able to grow and flourish under these ever-changing conditions, and continue to provide community arts programming to South Etobicoke and beyond.

Please join us in thanking Theodore for their leadership. We are grateful for their positive impact and wish them the best.
