The Lakeshorts International Short Film Festival fosters the arts community in South Etobicoke while showcasing the passion and spirit of independent film. The festival is organized by Fifth Ground Entertainment and Lakeshore Arts and is comprised of two Blue Carpet nights; the Friday evening “Scotiabank Loved and Local” screening featuring the work of Toronto and surrounding area filmmakers, and the Saturday evening “Lakeshorts Gala” screening and after party featuring selected international shorts.
