Francis Tomkins (they/them) is an interdisciplinary artist whose practice includes animation, collage, zine making, and workshop facilitation. They have a BFA in Cross-Disciplinary Arts: Publications from OCAD University and have worked within the arts and accessibility sectors at Tangled Art + Disability, StopGap Foundation and Toronto Queer Film Festival. Their work has been featured by Toronto Animated Image Society (TAIS), RestFest Film Festival, and Arts Etobicoke. Francis is passionate about how art can be used to create and sustain connected communities.

Sewing & Fibre Arts (@ LSA)
April 25 @ 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM
Explore sewing and fibre arts with artist Jennifer Choo Chee, with projects suitable for all ages and abilities. Participants will have the opportunity to complete a 30-minute sewing project or explore various fibre crafts using sewing machines or hand sewing techniques. Follow along to learn a new project each week, such as scrunchies and bandanas, drop-in anytime during the workshop to follow along!
All supplies for sewing projects will be supplied, feel free join and bring your own sewing projects and materials!
