Lakeshore Arts (LSA) is a charitable community arts organization dedicated to engaging people through multidisciplinary art forms as a way of enriching lives and strengthening South Etobicoke communities.

We are seeking individuals who are passionate about the arts, community building, and social justice to join our Board of Directors at Lakeshore Arts.

The Board of Directors’ role is to oversee policy, finance, governance, and strategic planning while also championing LSA’s Mission, Vision, and organizational goals. An ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to plan strategically and to implement quality assurance and risk management policies. Persons will demonstrate a commitment to social justice, equity, diversity and inclusion at all levels of the organization as we implement Lakeshore Arts’ new strategic plan.

We are seeking people with organizational management skills which may include financial literacy, Human Resources experience, a legal background, and/or leadership skills in administration in the non-profit sector. Previous board experience or management experience is preferred.

We are looking to recruit up to 3 board members and ask candidates to indicate whether they are interested in joining the executive team.
